Diabetic Gastroparesis Study

Diabetic Gastroparesis Clinical Research Study

Diabetic Gastroparesis is a disorder affecting people with both type 1 and type 2 diabetes in which the stomach takes too long to empty its contents (delayed gastric emptying). Gastroparesis affects more than 1.5 million Americans, with approximately 100,000 suffering from a severe form of the disorder. At least 20% of people with type 1 diabetes develop gastroparesis, and while it does occur in people who have type 2 diabetes it is less common.

If you are at least 18 years old and have had diabetes for 5 years or longer, you have the unique opportunity to explore improved treatment options while also earning extra money participating in an FDA-licensed and approved clinical research study. As a participant in our study, you will be playing a valuable role in helping to get safe, effective drugs approved for public use.
